We are a team of Canadians living in Toronto, passionate about our health and the habits that help us improve it every day. We are writers, fitness enthusiasts, vegans, consulting even health professionals to educate ourselves further in the lifestyle we feel so strongly about.

Our Goals and Motivation

This website was born out of the desire to help and encourage others to take on healthier eating habits and improve their lives. We have all done this in person and have come to love watching the huge changes a better diet can do for everybody who follows it. Hence the natural progression for us was to try to broaden the scope of our reach.

Our goal for the site is the same we have had for our talks in person. Changing people’s lives for the better by giving them advice on how to change their diet. For this, we understand a big factor is talking about the local restaurants that offer healthy options on their menu, for many Canadians have to eat at restaurants.

We also feel driving more customers to the restaurants that have made an effort to cook healthy meals will have an impact on the industry as a whole. We know not to bite off more than we can chew and have focused our endeavours on the options within the Toronto area.

Nowadays we have gathered a loyal reader-base that has given our website broader notoriety and keeps us pushing forward to keep updating the content we offer. We have changed so many lives for people that were having a hard time finding places where they could enjoy a fine meal and still stay healthy.

We keep focusing on giving this healthy and fresh eating trend a platform because we continue to believe this is necessary for Toronto for people to enjoy themselves while being healthy. The team consistently grows and becomes more solid as we post more varied content regarding special diets like gluten-free or vegan versions of local dishes.

Lola’s Kitchen has managed to embrace the Canadian culture and help it become one with the healthier eating habits we know are so good for everybody. The progress we have made so far has been incredible and we have grown as individuals and as a company through our work on this website.
